Panda Orange Chicken sauce
Panda Orange Chicken sauce
Use with any type of breaded chicken for a quick dinner
1T orange juice concentrate ( or 2-3 T orange juice)
1T soy sauce
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
ΒΌ cup lemon juice (plus a little extra if you like more tart flavor)
1 tsp grated ginger
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
I bring this all to a boil while stirring and then add a little water & cornstarch to thicken it up. If you like spicy sauce add 1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes. Remove from heat.
Coat your cooked chicken pieces with this sauce. I garnish with some sliced green onion if I have it on hand… that’s it.
