Molasses Butterballs
Molasses Butterballs
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup light molasses
2 cups flours
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chopped walnuts
Confectioners sugar
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and molasses. Combine the flour and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the walnuts. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool. Roll the cooled cookies in confectioners sugar. Makes 4 1/2 dozen
