Frosted Peanut Butter Cookies
Frosted Peanut Butter Cookies
1 pkg. (17 1/2 oz.) peanut butter cookies
2 cups confectioners sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup hot water
1 tsp vanilla
Sliced almonds or pecan halves
In a large bowl, prepare the cookie dough mix according to the package directions. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool completely. For the frosting: In a bowl, combine the confectioners sugar, baking cocoa, water, and the vanilla. Spread over the cookies. Top with the nuts.
