Potato Chips Cookies

2 cups butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
4 cups flour
1 cup crushed potato chips
1 cup chopped pecans

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla. Gradually add the flour. Beat just until combined. Stir in the potato chips and nuts. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes 5 dozen cookies
