Cheddar Cheese Crackers

1 cup butter or margaraine
1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
3 ounce cream cheese
1 tbsp minced sun-dried tonatoes
2 tsp basil
2 tsp garlic powder
salt to taste
2 cups flour

In a large bowl or food processor, beat together all the ingredients except the flour and the spices until well blended. Add the flour, basil, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms. Divided the dough in half. Shape into balls. Cover and chill for two hours. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Sprinkle with salt if desired. Cool on wire racks and store in air-tight containers. For an extra punch - sprinkle with a little Old Bay Seasoning.
