Peanut Butter Fudge Empty Peanut Butter Fudge

Peanut Butter Fudge

3 cups sugar
1 cup milk
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine sugar and milk in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Cook, stirring constantly - to 234 on candy thermometer OR until
mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in COLD water.
It takes about 10 minutes of boiling, watch carefully the last few minutes as it burns very easily.

Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Stir until the peanut butter melts, then beat until thick and shiny.
Don't beat too long. Candy will improve with practice.
Pour into a greased 8x8x2-inch pan. Cool and cut into squares.
