Chocolate Chip Pie
3 eggs
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 unbaked pastry shell (9 inches)
In a large bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Beat in the sugars, flour, butter, oil, and vanilla until well blended. Stir in the chocolate chips and the nuts. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 325 F for 1 1/4 hours or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Chill until servings. Refrigerate any leftovers. Makes 8 servings
