Double Chocolate Orange Brownies
Double Chocolate Orange Brownies
3/4 cup butter, cubed
4 squares (1 ounce each)
unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tsp orange extract
1 cup flour
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet
chocolate chips
Confectioners' sugar
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and the chocolate. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and the sugar. Stir in the chocolate mixture. Beat in the extract. Gradually add the flour to the chocolate mixture. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Bake at 350 F for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cut into squares. Just before serving, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
