Cinnamon Fried Apples
1/3 cup butter
1/2 to 3/4 cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 1/2 cup Water
4 Tart Apples, cored, peeled and quartered
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in water and apples: cover and cook over medium hear for 12 to 15 minutes, until apples are tender and sauce is thickened. Spoon sauce over apples to serve.
