Scream ! Cheese Swirl Brownies
Scream ! Cheese Swirl Brownies
Filling:
2 pkgs (3 oz each) cream cheese,
softened
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
4 drops red food color
4 drops yellow food color
1/2 tsp vanilla
Brownies:
1 box (1 lb. 6.5 oz.) Original Supreme
Brownie Mix with chocolate syrup pouch)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
Heat the oven to 350 F. Grease or spray the bottom only of a 13 x 9 inch pan. In a small bowl, beat the filling ingredients with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Set aside. In a large bowl, stir the brownie ingredients until well blended. Spread 3/4 of the brownie batter into the pan. Spoon the filling by tablespoonfuls evenly onto the brownie batter. Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the filling. For the marbled design, pull a knife through the batter and filling in wide curves. Turn the pan and then repeat. Bake for 26 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool completely at room temperature, about 1 hour. Refrigerate at least 1 hour until chilled. Makes 24 brownies
