Fancy Brussels Sprouts


10 – 15 small sized Brussels Sprouts – cut in half
1 TBSP cooking oil
2 Green Onions – chopped
1 TSP Ground Ginger and/or couple thin slices of fresh Ginger
1 Large Tomatoe – chopped
½ TSP Sea Salt
½ TSP Chili powder
½ TSP Ground Caraway seeds
½ TSP Ground pepper
2 Cloves of Garlic (one thinly sliced, one crashed)
3 TBSP of water or stock of your choice


Prepare, clean Brussels Sprouts. Chopped Green Onion with thinly sliced garlic is sauted
in oil, than when glossy the prepared Sprouts are added. Saute for about 5 minutes or until slight brown color shows on outer leafes of Sprouts. Add all the spices, mix and add water or stock, saute under cover for another 5 – 7 minutes. Then add the chopped tomatoes and saute for another 5 minutes.
Add the last of the garlic stir and put aside.


Serve as side dish. Make about 3 servings
