Steamed Brussels Sprouts with Mustard Sauce
Steamed Brussels Sprouts with Mustard Sauce
4 cups Brussels sprouts, quartered
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Fill a large pot with 2 inches of water. Bring to a boil. Place a steamer basket with the Brussels sprouts in the pot. Cover and steam for 12-15 minutes. In a cast-iron skillet, heat the olive oil until warm. Add the lemon juice, salt, pepper, mustard, and the red pepperflakes. Mix well. Add the Brussel sprouts. Toss to coat. Makes 4 servings
