Old Fashioned Russian Salad Dressing

1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup salad oil
dash of paprika

Use egg beater and all in order given above. Chill for best flavor.
