Chinese Green Beans

1 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon peanut oil
1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts, if using canned drain first
1 tablespoon soy sauce, I use low sodium
dash ginger

Cook green beans in small amount of water just until tender. Drain. Sauté oil and garlic. Add beans, water chestnuts, soy sauce and ginger. Toss and heat through.
