Fried Chicken on a stick
Fried chicken on a stick
This is popular around here at the local gas station delis.
Wooden skewers-soaked in water before use
chicken breast- cut into chinks
onion-cut into chinks
bell pepper- cut into chunks
potatoes- small thin slices
dill pickle- drained and patted dry
mushrooms- quartered- optional
Place these in any order on a wooden skewer. They put the pickle up close to the chicken. Dip in an egg wash and then into a seasoned flour. Deep fry them until the chicken is done. Drain and serve. These cost around $3.50 around here but one of these makes a meal.
