Oven Fried Fish

16 oz White fish filet – 8 oz per serving

¾ CUP Bread crumbs*

½ TSP Salt and pepper

1 TSP Fresh lemon juice

= = =

1 Egg white

2 TBSP milk

1/8 TSP Salt and Pepper

Clean and dry fish with paper towels, sprinkle with salt, pepper and lemon juice, rub it in and let sit in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes.

Mean while beat egg white with salt half of the milk and pepper in one dish. In second dish prepare bread crumbs -* I use my special breading mix.

Line a baking sheet with alum foil or parchment paper, lightly coat with little bit of milk. Place breaded fish in to prepared baking sheet, sprinkle with left over egg wash and put into a 375 F preheated oven for about 15 – 20 minutes.

Note: baking time will depend on your oven and the thickness of the fish, but as rule when breading is golden brown, fish is done.

The fish looks and tastes fried but in fact it is baked !

Makes 2 servings.
