Oatmeal Cookies (With Nuts)
Oatmeal Cookies (With Nuts)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp, cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped pecans, or walnuts
Preheat oven to 375.
In large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg; blend well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to butter mixture and mix well. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes till golden brown.
