Crab tons-very addictive
Crab tons
Package of cream cheese
Small package of imitation crab meat
Package of wonton wrappers (found in the produce section of grocery)
2 to 3 green onions (depending on taste)
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Oriental Sauce (from Just Herbs, Inc)
Canola oil for frying
Allow cream cheese to soften to room temperature
Chop green onion very finely
Add as much or as little of the seasoning to your family's taste. The soy sauce in the Oriental Sauce is enough salt for this dish.
Bring Canola oil up to a good frying temperature about 350 degrees (if you do not have a thermometer then just add a small piece of wonton wrapper to the oil and see how well it is cooking before you add a whole wonton.
Deep fry wontons a few at a time and drain on a cake rack to avoid them getting soggy. (drying on paper towels can surprisingly cause them to be soggy)
