Garlic Bread With Sauteed Mushrooms
Garlic Bread With Sauteed Mushrooms
10 Ounces Mushrooms -- large, sliced
3 1/2 Ounces Shiitake Mushrooms -- stems removed
1 Tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil -- or olive oil
2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley -- minced
2 Tablespoons Fresh Basil -- minced
Salt and Pepper -- to taste
4 Thick Italian Bread Slices
1 Clove Garlic -- halved
In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook mushrooms in olive
oil until browned, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with the parsley, basil, salt and pepper; remove from the heat. Toast bread; rub one side of the bread lightly with the cut side of the garlic. Place bread on serving plates. Spoon mushrooms onto bread
