FRUITCAKE COOKIES (7-8 dozen)
FRUITCAKE COOKIES (7-8 dozen)
2 cups raisins
1/2 cup bourbon
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cloves
1/4 cup margarine (softened)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 lb. Pecan pieces
16 oz container of chopped mixed fruits for fruit cakes
Mix raisins with bourbon and let stand for one hour. Sift together dry ingredients. Beat margarine, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in flour mixture. Stir in raisins, nuts and mixed fruit. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes or until firm
