Magnificent Macaroons

2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (like Eagle Brand)
3 cups coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-3 drops red food coloring

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir vanilla and food coloring into the sweetened condensed milk until evenly blended. Fold in coconut and mix well. Drop by teaspoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until delicate brown. Cool on a flat surface. Makes about 30 cookies
